Pompeii: From Jenuary 15th it is not allowed entering backpack that exceed the size of 30x30x15 cm.. The ban comes from the increasing necessity of safeguarding the heritage of the site. The outsize bags and backpack can be left in free cloakroom at entry gates to the archaeological site of Pompeii or on buses.
From the same date the entrance tickets can be puchased on line. Entrance tickets, then can be pre-purchased online from Superintendent’s site (www.pompeiisites.org) or TicketOne (www.ticketone.it): with a few clicks and paying by credit card you can choose to receive tickets at home or to print it and go directly to the entrance or withdraw them at a point dedicated to.
